About The Position

Capgemini is seeking an onshore Technical Analyst to support enterprise application initiatives in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. The role bridges business and technical teams by analyzing requirements, supporting integrations, validating data, and producing clear technical documentation. The position requires strong Java fundamentals, working knowledge of MuleSoft, solid SQL data analysis skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

  • Java: Strong understanding of Java concepts; ability to read and analyze Java code
  • MuleSoft (Basic): Ability to read and understand MuleSoft flows and integration logic
  • SQL: Strong data analysis skills, including writing complex queries to validate and analyze data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams while being onshore for close alignment with business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ Years of Experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in an enterprise environment.

Nice To Haves

  • API fundamentals (REST concepts, JSON, HTTP methods, status codes)
  • Experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and enterprise system interactions

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and development teams to understand business and technical requirements
  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs
  • Review and read Java-based code to understand application logic and support troubleshooting
  • Perform SQL-based data analysis to validate data flows, investigate issues, and support reporting needs
  • Support integration use cases by reviewing MuleSoft flows and understanding API interactions
  • Assist in API analysis, including request/response structures, error handling, and data mapping
  • Participate actively in Scaled Agile (SAFe) ceremonies such as PI planning, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation, including design documents, interface specifications, and process flows
  • Act as a communication bridge between business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery
  • Support testing activities by validating data, reviewing test results, and assisting with defect triage
