Requirements

Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field
3+ years of professional experience
Experience with MS Office: Excel in particular
Experience with SQL including concepts like joins, aggregate functions, and stored procedures
Experience with C#, Java, Python, or any other object-oriented programming language
Ability to use Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support analysis, documentation, testing, and productivity
Familiar with Databricks and AWS
The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA)

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services, actuarial science and/or insurance underwriting
Relevant advanced degree or certification
QA experience
Experience in an Agile Scrum team
Experience with Git or other version control systems

Responsibilities

Support Irix technology, serving as a technical subject matter expert
Learn the inner workings of our technology, and communicate effectively on technical subjects
Execute all non-clinical adjustments to Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical adjustments where necessary
Perform detailed impact and regression testing within the Irix Rules Engine for client and clinical changes
Conduct mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies following rule changes
Assist with user acceptance testing of system changes
Create, identify, and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes
Update project management system with specifications and changes, statuses of tasks
Check and validate team members’ work and results in peer review workflow
Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives
Deploy cloud-based systems to test
Deploy legacy on prem systems to test and production
Manage internal and external project-related documentation with the utmost accuracy
Work on and manage a variety of routine and ad-hoc client and clinical requests
