About The Position

Perform deep-dive data profiling on source datasets to evaluate quality, completeness, and anomalies, ensuring data is primed for integration into enterprise platforms. Utilize Google BigQuery to execute complex SQL queries, validate transformations, and build reusable datasets and views to support downstream analytics. Conduct detailed data flow analysis to map source-to-target relationships, establish data lineage, and identify dependencies across databases and applications. Partner with product managers and data engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements and define scalable integration strategies. Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and monitor quality metrics to implement effective remediation and cleansing strategies. Support the testing of new ingestion pipelines and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schema metadata and system inventories.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Strong SQL skills (advanced queries, views) for data extraction and validation using BigQuery SQL or equivalent tool such as Redshift
  • Strong hands-on experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, IBM InfoSphere, or techniques using SQL, specialized Python libraries and relational database knowledge
  • Proficient in Healthcare data modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional), metadata management, and applying data governance and stewardship best practices.
