About The Position

CGI is seeking a mid-level technical resource to automate processes related to CGI's Momentum financial management and procurement solution at a Government Agency in a high-security environment. This role offers the opportunity to expand core software development and technical architecting skillsets, gain hands-on experience with emerging digital technologies including cloud services, and help US Federal clients improve operational efficiency while developing cutting-edge automation solutions. The position is located in Washington, DC.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contract.
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in Linux, SQL, Python, and either .NET/C# or Java.
  • Past experience working as part of a collaborative team that practices Agile and/or DevOps throughout the SDLC.
  • Experience across the SDLC, including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance.
  • Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple projects and organize time effectively.
  • Ability to work well with business unit SMEs, Business Analysts, vendors, and end users in cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations, personal performance expectations, and achieving project goals.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IBM Workload Automation, webMethods, web services, AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS for Oracle, EFS, CloudWatch), Gitlab, Jira.
  • Experience with ERP and financial solutions highly preferred.
  • Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with RPA software tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) highly preferred.
  • Familiarity, certifications, and/or experience with BI/data analytics techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through enhanced workflow automation platforms.
  • Identify ERP issues/solutions including code analysis, systems analysis, and operational workflows for ERP products used by this government agency.
  • Investigate business process outcomes for performance, accuracy, and effectiveness to influence enterprise product development and customer-specific solutions.
  • Identify business reporting needs and requirements to design, develop, and test solutions for 4th Generation language reports, forms, and dashboards.
