We are seeking an experienced technical accounting professional to join our fast-paced, high-performing accounting team in Sunnyvale, CA. This individual contributor reports to the Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting and will participate in accounting areas such as leases, debt, acquisitions, etc. Being part of a global accounting team, this role will also work on tasks and projects that utilize technical and operational accounting skills, supporting other members in Finance and cross functional business partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP with experience in a wide range of topics and general accounting functions. Requirements

  • CPA licensee
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting and/or public company
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide guidance and manage cross-functional relationship
  • Ownership of processes, controls, and audit inquires
  • High proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Tables and advanced formula

Responsibilities

  • Excellent technical research and interpretation skills with ability to document and operationalize
  • Experience in complex areas such as Leases, Debt, M&A, and Equity
  • Review contracts and one-off transactions and document accounting positions in formal memos
  • Research and resolve accounting matters, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance
  • Review, document, and implement new accounting pronouncements
  • Provide accounting guidance and support cross-functional business partners
  • Assist with external reporting (financial statements, disclosures, and reporting packages) and flux analysis
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Prepare and maintain accounting policies and processes
  • Train and guide the global accounting team members
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and finance initiatives
