About The Position

Siemens Healthineers Shared Accounting Service organization seeks an Accounting Manager – Principles and Methods to become part of its Technical Accounting team in North America (NAM). As an individual contributor, this position will be responsible for reviewing contracts, accounting, researching, documenting, and implementing accounting positions in line with IFRS requirements. This person will work collaboratively with various business units, across functional groups, auditors and HQ teams to understand business transactions and to form well-reasoned accounting judgments and conclusions while also making a significant impact that drives positive change and leads to improved financial results. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, business, economics, technical, science, finance, business analytics.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant or equivalent experience working with data and AI.
  • Experience operating in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and be able to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in one or more enterprise business domains, with strong understanding of business processes, transformation levers, and value drivers.
  • Experience in management consulting, business transformation, domain-focused consulting, or consultative sales / pre-sales in data, analytics, automation or AI-related contexts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders in English and other regional languages as needed.

  • A master’s degree would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing contracts, accounting, researching, documenting, and implementing accounting positions in line with IFRS requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with various business units, across functional groups, auditors and HQ teams to understand business transactions and to form well-reasoned accounting judgments and conclusions.
  • Partner with IT Business Partners, business leaders, and key stakeholders across assigned domains to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and transformation goals.
  • Lead structured discovery, assessment, and value-shaping discussions to define business problems, desired outcomes, and high-potential data and AI opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities proactively by reviewing business roadmaps, planning cycles, and process pain points, and by challenging current approaches where scalable or reusable solutions can create greater value.
  • Co-develop and qualify high-value use cases by clarifying the business need, target outcomes, expected impact, sponsorship, strategic alignment, and potential for reuse or scale to support portfolio planning.
  • Represent the priorities, context, and business perspective of assigned domains in portfolio discussions and prioritization forums.
  • Drive end-to-end domain transformation through data and AI initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
