Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field is required.
  • Experience in account management or sales, preferably in life sciences or biotech.
  • Strong knowledge of biotechnology products and workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for technical inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Troubleshoot product performance issues and coordinate with R&D, QC, and Product teams and onboard new customers.
  • Maintain effective follow-up and potential resolutions regarding end-user issues.
  • Guide customers through workflows, protocol optimization, and best practices.
  • Cultivate good relationships with customers and key accounts to increase their knowledge in utilizing Zymo Research products.
  • Document technical cases and identify recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with product and quality teams to communicate customer feedback.
  • Assist in creating and refining technical documentation and knowledge base resources such as user guides, technical notes, and other marketing and training collaterals.
  • Support cross-functional teams with scientific and product expertise.
  • Provide customer insight feedback and participate as a consultant to internal teams for future product enhancement or new product development.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate on sales strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Generate new leads through research, networking, and inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals aligned with company goals.
  • Track performance using CRM systems and analyze trends.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management.
