About The Position
Receives and processes medical instruments and equipment. Effectively inspects instruments and completes high level disinfection documentation in accordance with industry standards, guidelines, and manufacturer instructions for use. Sterilizes medical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods, substances and equipment. Monitors sterilization processes and documents quality assurance testing. Manually clean and high level disinfect semi-critical devices including appropriate use of borescope and independent automatic endoscope reprocessor operation. Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to identify instrumentation needs. Locates, compiles, and distributes requested instrumentation appropriately.
