About The Position

Provides audio/visual equipment support for learning and rehearsal spaces on-campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide on-call classroom support related to musical equipment for faculty and students, in a polite and professional manner. Responsible for inventory, testing, installation and relocation of equipment.

Requirements

• Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
• Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program
• Summer employment requires pre-registration for the upcoming fall semester
• Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN)
• Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable
• A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (students in their first semester are exempt)
• In good disciplinary standing
• Must be located in the U.S.
• Basic knowledge of audio system (PA) operation, setup, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Professional and attentive communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience with instrument amplification and audio/visual cabling is preferred
• Studio/live sound experience is a plus
• General knowledge of Mac OS and applications
• MP&E or EPD majors are encouraged to apply
