About The Position
Pro Coffee Gear is a fast-growing ecommerce and wholesale distributor of commercial and home espresso equipment, serving cafés, roasters, restaurants, and home baristas. The company is hiring a hands-on technician to repair and refurbish coffee equipment. Coffee experience is not required; the company will teach espresso-machine repair. The technician will work alongside senior technicians, build skills across a wide range of equipment, and progress to more complex repair work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical work in automotive, electrical, HVAC, appliance, industrial maintenance, or a similar field.
- Comfort using multimeters, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Methodical and detail-oriented, with pride in quality work.
- Able to lift and move equipment weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Interest in learning about coffee equipment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and water-system issues across multiple brands.
- Test finished equipment to ensure it meets quality standards before shipping.
- Follow and help improve documented repair procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
