About The Position
Pro Coffee Gear is hiring a hands-on technician to repair and refurbish coffee equipment. Candidates with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, or automotive systems can apply; prior coffee experience is not required, and the company will provide training on espresso machines. The technician will work alongside senior technicians, develop skills across a wide range of equipment, and take on more complex repair work over time.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical work in automotive, electrical, HVAC, appliance, industrial maintenance, or a similar field.
- Comfortable using multimeters, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and proud of producing quality work.
- Able to lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs.
- Interested in learning about coffee equipment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and water-system issues across multiple brands.
- Test finished equipment to ensure it meets quality standards before shipment.
- Follow and help improve documented repair procedures.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used.
