About The Position
Tenstorrent is looking for a Contract Technical Recruiter to help scale the engineering teams building the future of AI compute. In this 12-month contract role, you'll partner closely with software engineering leaders to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across AI, machine learning, systems software, and related technical domains. This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving environment while helping shape the teams behind next-generation AI infrastructure. This role is hybrid, based out of Austin, TX. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Requirements
- Experienced technical recruiter with 5+ years of success hiring software engineers, AI/ML talent, systems engineers, hardware engineers, or other highly specialized technical profiles.
- Creative talent hunter who enjoys solving difficult hiring challenges and uncovering exceptional candidates in competitive markets.
- Trusted partner to hiring managers and leadership teams, capable of influencing decisions through data, market insights, and strong communication.
- Adaptable and self-directed, thriving in fast-changing environments where priorities evolve quickly and ownership is valued.
Responsibilities
- Partner with software engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, talent pipelines, and recruiting roadmaps that support aggressive growth goals.
- Build and execute innovative sourcing approaches across traditional channels, professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience that reflects Tenstorrent’s values and strengthens our employer brand throughout the hiring process.
- Share market intelligence, recruiting best practices, and operational insights that help improve hiring outcomes across the broader recruiting team.
