About The Position
The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is seeking a Tech Manager - Studio and Production Operations to manage technical operations supporting television, radio, streaming, and digital broadcast services. This role involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadcast, production, transmission, and IT systems. The position requires coordinating technical support for live broadcasts, special events, and remote productions, as well as supervising engineering and technical personnel. The goal is to ensure broadcast systems operate efficiently and minimize disruptions. The role also includes developing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating the installation of new technologies, and staying updated on the latest technology. The position is for employment as a personal services contractor with VOA News and requires passing a background check.
