About The Position

We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong technical quality to act as an engineering reference in the development of innovative solutions in the health area, in an American technology company. We are looking for someone technically solid, with an architectural vision, ability to make technical decisions and elevate the team's level — acting as technical leadership (not people management), with a good balance between hands-on work and direction. Responsibilities - Act as a reference in software architecture, helping to define robust, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions. - Design and develop applications in Python and web applications with JavaScript and ReactJS, with good coverage of unit and functional tests (pytest, Playwright). - Technically lead the team: guide developers, review code, unblock problems, and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Work with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, among others), deploy with Docker, and write complex SQL queries. - Make technical and architectural decisions, evaluating trade-offs, technical debt, and system evolution. - Contribute to analysis, debugging, problem-solving, and technical support. - Participate in the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements

  • +6 years of experience as a Full Stack developer, with strong technical seniority.
  • Solid experience with Python and React (or equivalent JavaScript/TypeScript stack).
  • Experience with enterprise cloud applications (AWS preferably).
  • Previous experience technically leading other developers (tech lead, senior technical reference, etc.).
  • Good foundation in software architecture and design — scope, trade-offs, technical debt, system evolution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical analysis, and autonomy to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to teach, guide, and elevate the technical level of those around you.
  • Good communication and team collaboration.
  • English for communication with an international team (doesn't need to be fluent, at least advanced and comfortable for daily technical work).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the health sector / health tech.
  • Familiarity with application security practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
  • Use of AI tools in development (coding assistants, AI-assisted development).
  • Previous experience in international companies or projects in English.
  • End-to-end responsibility for projects or products, beyond development.
