About The Position
Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead - Application Development to join their AI Gigafactory. This role involves designing and developing scalable technical solutions on the Insurity Pro Suite platform, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in application architecture, security, scalability, and performance. The position requires developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications, including custom business logic, batch jobs, and SQL development. Additionally, the role involves designing, developing, and supporting integrations with various enterprise systems and third-party applications, as well as providing L3 production support, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Design scalable and maintainable technical solutions on the Insurity Pro Suite platform.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Configuration Leads to define technical architecture.
- Review business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
- Define system architecture, integration patterns, APIs, and data flow across enterprise applications.
- Recommend best practices for application architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications built on Insurity Pro Suite.
- Design and develop reusable components, services, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Build custom business logic where product configuration alone cannot satisfy business requirements.
- Develop batch jobs, scheduled processes, and background services.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
- Design, develop, and support integrations with enterprise systems including Policy Administration, Rating Engines, Underwriting Systems, Billing Systems, Premium Accounting, Document Management Systems, Claims Systems, and third-party vendor applications.
- Support technical implementation across the commercial insurance lifecycle, including Submission Intake, Quote, Rating, Underwriting, Bind, Policy Issuance, New Business, Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations, Reinstatements, Forms Generation, Premium Accounting Interfaces, Reporting, and Workflow Automation.
- Provide L3 production support.
- Perform root cause analysis of production incidents.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues.
- Resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Support production deployments and release validation.
- Participate in on-call support rotations when required.
- Coordinate defect resolution with business and infrastructure teams.
