AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continuous access to innovation. This role is part of the AWS Non-Standard Infrastructure Global Delivery Team and focuses on driving non-standard infrastructure capacity delivery worldwide. The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing non-standard infrastructure designs, managing requirements, budgets, and project schedules. The role involves long-range planning for complex, multi-year capacity delivery and capital improvement initiatives, coordinating with local teams for project execution, and optimizing the global fleet. It requires working across the entire AWS organization to find solutions for demand plans, address capacity constraints, and drive projects from concept to deployment. The position also involves driving accountability, monitoring program health, and escalating issues to executive leadership. This role offers the opportunity to influence business-critical decisions impacting AWS's future, working with emerging capabilities and services. The candidate must be comfortable managing remote teams, assessing and mitigating risks, troubleshooting implementation issues, removing bureaucratic barriers, and dealing with uncertainty. Building and managing cross-functional teams, establishing trust with stakeholders, eliminating non-value-add activity, designing solutions, removing blockers, and accelerating project delivery are essential. Acting independently with good judgment to drive timely decision-making and deliver high-quality results is crucial.
