About The Position

At The Adventure Group, creating exceptional guest experiences starts behind the scenes. As part of the Tech Team, you will assist with equipment maintenance, inspections, and inventory, while ensuring the workshop and all gear meet high safety and quality standards. This role is key to keeping our operations safe, organized, and ready to deliver.

Requirements

  • Education or training in maintenance is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and working outdoors, with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Valid 80-hour First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Rope access certification (IRATA, SPRAT, NFPA, or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day technical maintenance operations.
  • Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies, including timely reordering when required.
  • Respond to changing priorities and last-minute requests to support operational needs.
  • Support the care and maintenance of all TAG-owned equipment, including aerial obstacle courses, ziplines, and related gear.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and work areas at all times.
  • Follow and promote safe working practices in the workshop and in the field.
  • Work collaboratively with TAG contractors and provide support on assigned projects as needed.
  • Support other team members and departments when required, within the scope of skills and experience.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Tech Team Lead and supervisors.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meets TAG standards as well as TSBC and WorkSafeBC requirements.
  • Assist the Tech Team Lead with inspections of courses, gear, and equipment.
