About The Position

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging is seeking an experienced Technologist Assistant to join our patient-focused team! This role is a Full-Time position, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, located at the outpatient imaging center in Winston-Salem, NC. The Technologist Assistant is responsible for supporting the radiology staff and providing the first clinical point of contact for patients. This role facilitates patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize resource utilization. The assistant demonstrates competence with all imaging safety compliance initiatives and serves as part of the imaging center team, seeking and providing feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Supporting the radiology staff
• Providing the first clinical point of contact for patients
• Facilitating the patient flow to minimize patient wait times and maximize the utilization of resources
