About The Position

Cardinal Points Imaging is currently seeking an experienced Tech Assistant for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center located in Raleigh, NC. This role is responsible for supporting the radiology staff and providing the first clinical point of contact for patients. The Tech Assistant will facilitate patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize resource utilization, while demonstrating competence with all imaging safety compliance initiatives. This position serves as part of the imaging center team, contributing to improved clinical practice through feedback and collaboration.

Requirements

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
