About The Position

To perform phlebotomy on In Office patients. To register, order tests, perform medical necessity, and process specimens provide customer service through initiation and/or response to provider and patient inquiries via phone, fax, or printer regarding test status, results or specimen requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task and be detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good typing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • ASCP certified preferred.
