About The Position

In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Scope of practice will encompass: Expert clinical practice, Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers, Research, Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems). To serve on-call/weekend rotation as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program as determined by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Current Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Hold a valid, current New Jersey physician assistant license.
• OR Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with primary focus of education and training as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment if not already covered.
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field.
• Willing to train highly motivated individual
• BCLS & ACLS certification

• Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred.
