Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate or ability to learn to operate equipment used in performing job responsibilities.
- BLS required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Functions under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA or Registered Nurse and performs delegated functions.
- Provides safe, effective cleaning of all equipment in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Assumes responsibility to order and prepare supplies and equipment as needed by the Anesthesiologist for surgical procedures.
- Observes Universal Precautions.
- Responsible for meeting the Standards of Care.
- Patient age may be from neonate to geriatric.
