About The Position

The Teardown Washroom position is responsible for cleaning all auto door parts in accordance with DCU standards. This role involves operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment, ensuring parts are properly cleaned and dried, and adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.
• Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to stand for entire shift.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Be able to work in hot climates during the summer months.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load & unload power washers & tumblers with dirty parts.
• Hand wash certain critical parts as needed.
• Load & unload vibratory system to polish certain parts as trained.
• Teardown & clean power washers & tumblers as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean washroom floors & walls when needed.
• Power off washroom equipment when shift is over to ensure heating elements from burning out.
• Properly dispose of grease & sludge properly.
• Rinse & dry washed products properly to prevent rusting or spotting of cleaned parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
