About The Position

Lake Center Christian School is seeking a caring and collaborative Elementary Team Teacher to support student learning in a Christ-centered environment. Requirements

  • A clear testimony of saving faith in Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to Christian education and agreement with our school's Statement of Faith and community lifestyle statements.
  • Commitment to upholding the Christian mission and values of Lake Center Christian School.
  • Clear FBI/BCI background check
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, required
  • Valid and active Ohio teaching license/certification, required
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies and student learning needs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty to plan lessons and implement interventions through the RtI process
  • Provide whole group, small group, and individualized instruction based on student needs
  • Support differentiated instruction within the classroom
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate data for RtI goals
  • Work closely with teachers and intervention specialists to support diverse learners
  • Communicate effectively with faculty and parents regarding student progress
  • Participate in professional development and team collaboration
