About The Position

Hyundai MOBIS is a leading global auto parts specialist company, serving as the parts and service arm for Kia Motors Georgia. The Georgia Plant utilizes advanced vehicle modularization technology to produce chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules, as well as front and rear bumpers for the KIA Georgia factory in a just-in-sequence environment. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Team Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team at Hyundai Mobis.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Equivalent Experience/Education: 5-7 years of experience with MOBIS, with 2-3 years in a Team Leader or other leadership role; external team relations experience commensurate with a degree is acceptable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Excellent investigation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to prepare detailed documentation of investigations, disciplinary actions, termination requests, etc., and participate in unemployment and other legal proceedings.
  • Ability to generate and facilitate training sessions for employees at all levels on various topics in support of a union-free environment.
  • Ability to monitor employee morale and act as a change agent to improve company culture, communications, and promote positive management leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as an advocate for hourly Team Members, supporting them and front-line supervisors in conflict resolution, communication, policy interpretation, and upholding company policies to foster a positive environment aligned with MOBIS Core Values.
  • Acts as a liaison between Team Members and other departments (HR, EHS, GA) to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Maintains daily communication with hourly Team Members to address routine questions and concerns, and to assess Team Member morale.
  • Maintains daily communication with the Assistant Manager of Team Relations to keep management informed of current issues and concerns.
  • Assists front-line supervisors in ensuring uniform application of MOBIS policies through internal audits, conducting investigations, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Supports front-line supervisors in conducting disciplinary investigations and acts as the Team Member's advocate to ensure consistent treatment according to MOBIS policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a liaison to gather necessary information for Team Members or to arrange meetings with appropriate personnel.
  • Works with supervisors, managers, and administration to ensure timely communication of information to Team Members.
  • Enters corrective action reports into the department database.
  • Participates in the facilitation of the annual hourly Team Member Satisfaction Survey and data entry of responses.
  • Prepares and potentially presents various reports as requested.
  • Maintains company bulletin boards and assists with the creation of TV Messenger programming.
  • Assists with administrative, communication, safety, and training issues.
  • May conduct or assist in conducting company-sponsored training.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
