When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. This is a Full Time position with a 40 Hours - Monday to Friday Schedule. The role involves collaborating with physicians and midlevel providers in providing direct healthcare to patients, evaluating client outcomes and condition changes, and communicating and documenting teaching and follow-up care with patients. The nurse will also triage telephone inquiries, review lab results, and arrange referrals to ancillary services. Demonstrates competency in office procedures including testing, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures. Maintains and supervises departmental logs and reviews public health information for communicable diseases. Maintains stock of client education materials and reviews new materials. Follows hospital and departmental policies, handles work-related information confidentially, and treats customers with courtesy and compassion. Works effectively with team members to meet changing needs and deliver customer-oriented and cost-effective care. Demonstrates initiative to improve services and processes. Plans, organizes, and renders care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients. Performs work responsibilities in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Patient safety is paramount, involving proper procedures for telephone and verbal orders, using accepted abbreviations, verifying patient identity, using sharps devices safely, complying with isolation guidelines, and adhering to handwashing guidelines.
