We are seeking Tim Horton's Team Members to join our team at Tim Hortons in Dalhousie University's Life Sciences Center! Requirements
- Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience is an asset
- Experience working with Tim Horton's or similar franchise an asset
- Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset
- Additional certification may be required by work location
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Brew fresh coffee, mix specialty drinks, prepare breakfast items, sandwiches, and showcase baked goods according to Tim Hortons standards.
- Work collaboratively to keep line-ups moving quickly, especially during peak drive-thru and front-counter rush hours.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across the counter, kitchen, drive-thru, and seating areas.
- Keep workstations stocked with cups, lids, coffee beans, and fresh ingredients throughout your shift.
