About The Position

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Joy Creator creates a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions and sells our delicious cakes. This role involves greeting guests, maintaining product knowledge, and suggesting additional merchandise to enhance celebrations. The work environment is described as fun, with opportunities to bake and sell cakes, and offers flexible hours, making it a great after-school job.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Approved to work in the United States.
High energy and strong interpersonal skills.
Friendly, helpful, positive, patient, socially confident and communicative.
Enjoys interacting with diverse people and excels at providing a superior guest experience.
Can perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be available weekends and evenings.

Nice To Haves

Previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant or retail store is a plus.
Experience at McDonald's, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Chick-Fil-A, and other fast food concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

Greets walk-in and phone guests promptly with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm.
Determines guest interests and needs, and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
Suggests additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
Supports the team or guest, demonstrating reliability, trustworthiness, and responsiveness.
Takes initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
Operates with a strong sense of urgency and adheres to NbC brand standards.
Projects warmth, enthusiasm, and optimism.
