About The Position
Eataly is launching its first-ever Eataly Caffè, a fast-paced, vibrant café experience celebrating Italy’s rich coffee culture. We are hiring Team Members and Part-time Team Members for our locations at Rockefeller Center, Hudson Yards, and Lexington Ave. Team Members will be at the heart of our guest experience—crafting delicious espresso drinks, preparing food items, and providing warm, Italian-style hospitality. You'll rotate across front- and back-of-house stations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and product knowledge. Specific roles include Baristas, Customer Service Associates, and Prep Cooks.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Crafting and serving specialty hot and cold beverages, including authentic Italian espresso, coffee, and other café drinks, while providing exceptional guest service.
- Engaging with guests to provide warm, Italian-style hospitality, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Prepare a variety of cold food items and ingredients that are used in our recipes, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Rotate across front- and back-of-house stations.
- Ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and product knowledge.
