About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring safety, contributing to continuous improvement, and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. The Team Member will work at various stations, adhere to standard operating procedures, and communicate effectively with their team and leaders to ensure a smooth production flow. Flexibility for overtime is also a requirement.

Requirements

Work necessary overtime to support customer demand
Excellent attendance
Able to work safely around all production processes
Safely lift 25 lbs, unaided, and up to 75lbs with assistance
Must possess good mechanical aptitude and follow standardized work
History of experience with simple hand tools and measuring devices

Responsibilities

Proactively look out for individual and team safety.
Provide creative/innovative ideas and solutions through problem-solving efforts, continuous Improvement (Kaizen) projects and in support of Total Quality Management techniques.
Voice concerns and problem areas to Team Leaders, and help solve the problem.
Maintain a strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, thereby clearly identifying irregularities that may cause damage or inefficiency and prescribing corrective measures to improve these processes.
Report to work station prepared to work at beginning of shift, and the ability to work overtime, as needed.
Communicate with Team and Team Leaders to help continuous flow.
Apply sound problem-solving skills in order to maintain a high standard of quality to our customers.
Work at different work stations as production needs require, and be able to gain proficiency in all processes in a reasonable amount of time per instructions/training provided.
