About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful gaming company in the United States and one of the premier casino entertainment companies. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining open communication channels with employees, developing employee relations programs, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures. The position also involves administering the employee disciplinary review process, counseling employees on work-related issues, analyzing and recommending solutions to disputes, and developing employee communications and recognition programs.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge in HR-related legal compliance, employee relations, culture, and communications.
Exceptional negotiation and mediation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish/English skills highly preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations preferred.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain open communication channels with employees.
Develop employee relations programs.
Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Administer the employee disciplinary review process.
Counsel and investigate employee work-related problems.
Analyze and recommend solutions to work-related problems or disputes.
Develop and implement employee communications programs, employee activities, and employee recognition programs.
Coordinate and provide referrals for employee assistance programs.
Assist employees with investigation and presentation at Employee Disciplinary Review Committee hearings.
Recruit EDRICK committee members and coordinate all aspects of EDRICK program.
Administer and recommend new employee relations programs.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
