About The Position

The Processing Team Member helps transform donated clothing and other merchandise into items ready for retail sale or shipment. The role involves sorting, inspecting, grading, cleaning, pricing, organizing, and packaging merchandise while working toward daily production and quality goals. Team members also move merchandise through the processing area, operate equipment such as balers after training, and maintain a clean and safe workspace. The position is active and fast-paced, includes repetitive tasks, and involves working with a team. It also supports the company’s charity partners and efforts to keep reusable goods out of landfills.

Responsibilities

Sort, inspect, and grade donated clothing and other merchandise based on quality and condition.
Price and prepare merchandise for retail sales floors.
Clean, organize, and package donated items for display or shipment.
Safely load, unload, and move carts and merchandise throughout the processing area.
Operate processing equipment, including balers, after receiving proper training.
Meet daily production and quality goals while maintaining accuracy.
Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized.
Work with the team to keep merchandise moving efficiently.
