About The Position

As a Team Manager, you will lead a team of specialists focused on improving business operations and the website experience for a large-scale eCommerce platform. Your focus will be on driving performance, enabling your team to do their best work, and turning insights into meaningful, measurable results. You will set direction, prioritize initiatives, enhance processes, guide the team’s growth, and ensure consistent execution. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you will identify opportunities, align on priorities, and continuously improve how your team operates.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (ex. Business, Communications, Marketing, Design, Law etc.)
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong ability to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and deliver measurable results that align with business goals
  • Experience managing projects and initiatives from planning to execution
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear, structured plans
  • Strong decision-making skills, informed by data and sound judgment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align and influence stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Interest and motivation to grow within the role and take on expanded responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital, eCommerce, or data-driven environments
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and quality
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and experimentation methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of specialists, supporting both performance and growth
  • Set clear goals and expectations, driving accountability and strong execution
  • Plan and prioritize work, balancing short term needs with longer term initiatives
  • Translate business objectives into structured, actionable plans
  • Review work and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Use data and insights to guide decisions and improve outcomes
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Guide testing and experimentation to continuously improve performance
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Analysis, Design, Development, Marketing, Legal) to align priorities and deliver results
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development of team members
