Team Manager/Host for Kids Birthday Parties (Northbrook)
About The Position
Kids Science Labs (www.kidssciencelabs.com), a leader in hands-on science education, is seeking energetic and motivated individuals to lead their birthday party team. This role involves guiding team members to deliver exceptional birthday party experiences for children aged 4-12 and their families on weekends. The position is designed to be energizing and offers opportunities for growth in leadership and management skills, moving beyond a mundane hourly job. Parties are 75-105 minute events where the team engages 10-30 children in hands-on science experiments. The Team Lead will be responsible for guiding a team of 3-4 individuals to execute plans flawlessly, ensuring a memorable and exciting experience for guests, and supporting the Customer Engagement Team.
Requirements
- Available both Saturday/Sundays
- Exceptional at providing customer service, preferably in childcare (babysitting), theater, or education
- Organized and dependable
- Proactive leaders with strong communication skills
- Flexible; able to learn and adapt quickly
- Passionate with a positive attitude

Responsibilities
- Successfully delegate tasks and lead the Birthday Team through the dynamic environment of a birthday party
- Communicate well both verbally and via electronic communication
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service by managing the parent and child experience
- Schedule Birthday Team members using Homebase
- Coordinate with the Customer Engagement Team to understand any birthday customer requests
- Ensure the Birthday Team is set up for success with proper prep, information, and materials
- HAVE FUN, laugh, and engage kids and families!
