About The Position

We’re seeking a passionate and organized Team Lead to oversee our inclusive before and after school program for children ages 5–12. In this dynamic role, you’ll supervise and mentor a team of staff and volunteers, plan and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all children and families. You’ll be responsible for child-centered programming, active supervision, conflict resolution, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and community partners. Additional duties include preparing healthy snacks, maintaining a clean and professional space, and handling administrative tasks such as payroll and budget tracking. Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Experience working or volunteering with children.
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, or demonstrated leadership qualities in a comparable child-focused environment.
  • Emergency First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references.
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued no later than six (6) months preceding the start date.
