About The Position
This role is responsible for leading a team on the 1st shift, focusing on daily planning, communication, and coordination of team activities. The Team Leader ensures accurate and timely completion of administrative duties, empowers the team to make decisions regarding quality, safety, and production, and fosters a respectful work environment. This position also involves providing direction and training to team members to improve job skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily team meetings in planning & communicating team activities for the day.
- Coordinate rotation of job assignments for team members.
- Attend daily production meetings and report on the status of the area.
- Coordinate the flow of information to and from other areas of the organization for the team.
- Coordinate the activities of council coordinators keeping team members informed and providing opportunities for input.
- Assist with providing direction and training for team members who need to improve job skills.
- Assure administrative duties are complete in an accurate and timely manner: uptime reports, production reports, tags, checklists, etc.
- Make decisions with the team regarding quality, safety and production issues.
- Treat all other team members with respect and dignity.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
