National Vision is seeking Team Leaders for its optical manufacturing lab in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The role involves overseeing various departments within the lab, including Inspection, Surface, AR (Anti-Reflective coating), and Shipping, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficient operations. The facility maintains a comfortable working environment at 71 degrees year-round.

Requirements

Prior leadership experience required.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Previous related optical or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee and perform duties in various departments such as Inspection, Surface, AR Coating, and Shipping.
Inspect frames for defects and lenses for optical and visual imperfections according to ANSI Standards.
Perform tasks in the Surface department including taping, blocking, generating, backside coating, deblocking, and polishing.
Operate AR Coating machines, sort, inspect, and prepare lenses for coating, and ensure quality standards are met post-coating.
Manage shipping processes including scanning jobs, bagging, sorting, preparing shipments, and tracking orders.
Ensure adherence to all assigned duties and department functions.
Lead and guide team members within the manufacturing lab.
