About The Position

The Team Leader is a key member of the Workplace Planning & Advice (WPA) business group providing leadership to a team of licensed Workplace Planning Consultants. Their primary responsibility is to lead, coach, and develop their team in order to drive exceptional customer experiences and build lifetime relationships with our customers through financial planning and investment guidance. The Team Leader provides oversight and leadership to their team, as well as, thought leadership to the organization, help drive incremental value to our participants and the WPA organization. The right candidate will provide subject matter expertise to our strategy teams, as well as, local regional leadership and representation. WPA is responsible for growing lifetime relationships, specifically expanding participant’s relationships with Fidelity to include both employer-sponsored and personal assets. WPA is tasked with providing needs-based solutions to our participants based on their specific needs and ensuring better financial outcomes for all Fidelity customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in a service or sales business
  • FINRA Series 7, 66
  • FINRA Series 9/10 licenses strongly preferred or able to obtain upon hire
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading teams in sales or customer service
  • Ability to motivate associates to grow and stretch themselves
  • Ability to present and implement new ideas and execute flawlessly against organizational strategy
  • Coaching and development skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience with regulatory and compliance practices and rules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
