About The Position

The Team Leader Trainee is a direct hire hourly role in the Manufacturing Department on the 2nd Shift. This position is the non-supervisory technical expert on the team, responsible for coordinating and assisting team members in achieving objectives related to safety, product quality, accuracy, productivity, cost reduction, housekeeping, training, and team cohesiveness. The role offers a rich benefits package.

Requirements

• Proficient in basic computer applications: Excel, Word, Power Point with ability to learn other programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Master all jobs/skills of the team to train, relieve, and assist team members, and act as a technical problem-solving resource.
• Maintain required records to document activities in the assigned area.
• Monitor production schedules to maintain material, facility, and training readiness.
• Assign team members to area activities in accordance with production demands and directives of the Group Leader.
• Ensure that product quality meets all specifications and standards.
• Act as the primary communication link between the team and Group Leader through daily meetings and monitoring team concerns.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Group Leader.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager(s).
