About The Position

Under general supervision, the Team Leader Registered Nurse demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to nursing assessment and development of the nursing care plan, and participates in evaluating nursing care in accordance with the established philosophy. The role is accountable to the Studer philosophies and principles listed in the posting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold a current Registered Nurse license in Kentucky or a compact-state Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-directing and able to work with little direct supervision.
• Empathy for patients' needs.
• Treat patients and others with courtesy and respect and present a positive public image.
• Work well as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
• One year of experience in nursing or surgery.

Responsibilities

• Administer the fundamentals of the nursing process.
• Contribute to nursing assessment and development of the nursing care plan.
• Participate in evaluating nursing care.
• Meet the Studer principles of HCAPS Patient Perception, Hourly Rounding with Intention, Bedside Shift Report, AIDET, and Daily Huddles.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of patients' medical information.
