About The Position

The Team Leader Registered Nurse combines direct patient care with clinical leadership. The role partners with the Department Manager to support daily operations, promote quality outcomes, mentor and develop nurses, and help create an environment where patients and caregivers thrive. The Team Leader remains actively involved in patient care while encouraging the team to deliver high standards of nursing excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

The position is suited to a nurse who leads with confidence, integrity, and compassion; demonstrates sound clinical judgment and critical thinking; works collaboratively; and is committed to continuous improvement and professional growth. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Maintain all certifications required by the unit.
• At least two years of RN experience.
• At least one year of RN experience within the specialty area.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to lead with confidence, integrity, and compassion and to work collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an active education plan toward completion.
