About The Position

Weyerhaeuser Cottage Grove Lumber is seeking a Team Leader (Production Supervisor) for their facility in Cottage Grove, OR. This is a salaried position that includes a comprehensive benefits package. The training period involves learning the business, working with individuals in various roles, coaching, feedback, and on-the-job training. This will include job shadowing other Team Leaders on different shifts, requiring availability to work any shift during training. A shift assignment will be made at the end of the training period. Weyerhaeuser has been a leader in quality building products and sustainable wood products for over 125 years.

Requirements

• Leadership capability, particularly regarding Weyerhaeuser safety culture
• Ability to connect and communicate with people in all roles in the business
• Ability to adapt to ever-changing business conditions
• Ability to drive improvement and solve difficult problems
• Must be available to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, work from heights, and in confined/restricted areas.
• Must be able to lift 2-50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to climb steps and ladders.
• Must be able to stand or work for 4 hours as needed.
