Working as a Team Leader for Crisis Response means joining a team that shows up with heart, humility, and purpose. Every day, we support individuals and families across Chicago’s South Side during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Our role is simple but powerful: bring calm, dignity, connection, and hope when it is needed most. You will provide direct mobile crisis intervention services throughout the community while also mentoring and developing staff. You'll help guide both individuals in crisis and the next generation of crisis workers, creating a lasting impact far beyond a single interaction. No two days are ever the same. One day, you may be responding to a behavioral health crisis in a family home. The next, you could be supporting someone following a call to 988, coordinating with first responders, partnering with schools and community organizations to expand awareness of crisis service, or coaching team members through complex cases. This work is deeply meaningful because it is rooted in real relationships—with the people we serve, the communities we partner with, and one another as a team.
