Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 6 months of experience leading, training, mentoring, or providing direction to others. Formal leadership experience is not required if you have experience as an acting lead, trainer, or go-to team member.
Experience working in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or a similar environment.
Ability to train and support employees while providing clear direction and feedback.
Comfortable working hands-on and learning different production processes.
Ability to operate or learn power equipment and hand tools such as saws, drills, routers, and heat guns.
Strong understanding of workplace safety and the ability to recognize and escalate unsafe conditions.
Ability to adjust priorities based on changing production needs.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP or another ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production activities and direct workflow to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
Train, coach, and cross-train team members across production processes and equipment.
Monitor production performance, identify barriers, and work with the team and leadership to resolve issues.
Coordinate staffing and labor coverage during breaks, absences, changeovers, and production downtime.
Support production start-ups, process controls, and changeovers.
Ensure standard work, quality requirements, and safety procedures are consistently followed.
Coordinate material flow to and from production lines to prevent unnecessary delays.
Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members and communicate performance concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
Support Lean and continuous improvement activities that improve safety, quality, productivity, and workflow.
Initiate and track maintenance work orders and escalate equipment, quality, or safety concerns when needed.
Help maintain clear communication between shifts, departments, team members, and leadership.
