About The Position

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating production to ensure established guidelines for quality and productivity are met and improved in the work area. This role requires fostering BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. The Team Leader must also be a productive member of the work group.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
2+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Production Environment, preferred

Responsibilities

Obtains knowledge of workflow and processes necessary to meet daily production goals of assigned area
Ensures that the work group has the necessary supplies and materials to meet production goals
Informs supervisor/manager of any potential problems and/or issues with personnel
Responsible for reporting any potential safety hazards and/or machinery defects to appropriate personnel
Ensures that all associates perform duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company safety policies
Works closely with internal departments to make sure all order information (including artwork, decoration method, etc.) is accurate and complete in order to produce the highest quality product
Responsible for inspecting own work, and the work of others, to ensure that the customer is receiving the highest quality product possible
Practices and promotes the usage of problem solving, process improvement, and teamwork principles
Ensures that housekeeping is maintained at an acceptable level at all times
Reliable, regular attendance is essential
Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work
Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies
Other duties and special projects as assigned
