About The Position

Bonnell Aluminum is looking for an individual to join our Precision Parts team as a Team Leader (Captain) on the Night Shift. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely processing and accuracy of machine parts per customer's request, managing a team of machine operators, and measuring parts to customer expectations. The position also involves assisting with CNC machine set-ups, identifying potential problems and areas for improvement, managing and conducting safety training, understanding speeds and feeds calculations, driving process adherence, maintaining accurate inventories, and basic shop floor programming on CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be able to inspire others, defuse conflict, make good decisions, and coach and develop production employees, while also communicating needs between various departments.

Requirements

English required
Blueprint reading skills
Ability to delegate and anticipate needs of the department and employees
Work closely with design engineers, salesmen, & customer service representatives
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong problem solving and advanced math skills
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Ability to efficiently use a computer, including programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
Team player with leadership skills
Excellent inspection skills
Pass company background check and drug screen

High School Diploma/GED preferred
