About The Position

As the Team Leader of Audio Visual Events, you technically direct all levels of events as well as lead the Audio Visual Events team. This role provides leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to the Audio Visual Events team, including formal and informal feedback for development in regular performance conversations. You will collaborate with leadership, vendors, stakeholders, and internal and external clients to identify event requirements, scope, and objectives, and to provide recommendations for best practices. The role involves monitoring and tracking assigned event project progress, proactively handling any issues, and reviewing and approving vendor proposals and invoices for payment within budget. You will administer full lifecycle AV production from concept through revisions and final execution, using technical expertise to assist in creating effective messages or branding initiatives. Additionally, you will coordinate with technicians on equipment maintenance for video monitors, cameras, lighting, sound boards, microphones, and associated AV items, and work with producers and directors on the design, installation, and positioning of sets and props.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in a live production environment
  • Thorough knowledge of all audio visual (AV) event production subject matter
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in Keynote

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of experience in a live production environment
  • 1 year of experience in leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in audio production, music production, broadcast & digital journalism, broadcast communications or a related field
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
