This position supervises all store personnel during assigned shifts to ensure operational standards are met. The Team Lead is responsible for opening and/or closing the store as the key holder/team leader on duty. This role involves developing, training, coaching, and supporting team members for career growth within the organization. The Team Lead must comply with agency policies, Donated Goods Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the agency’s safety and security policies and procedures. They are expected to adhere to the task outline for the jobs they supervise and perform. A key aspect of this role is creating a customer service standard by greeting and assisting donors/customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. The Team Lead will also assist in resolving complaints and communicating issues to the management team. Maintaining proficiency in all workstations, monitoring the overall store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards, and performing/assisting in all functions completed by store personnel are also crucial. Additionally, this role supports maintaining company records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion, attending all required meetings and training, and being available for transfers to any Goodwill of North Georgia store within the territory as needed or required. Other duties may be assigned by management.
