About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Team Lead – 1st Shift to join our team located onsite in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you'll lead process improvements, support operational excellence, and help create a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. You'll collaborate with teams across profiles, sanding, packaging, and shipping, ensuring our cabinet doors meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. Requirements

High School education or equivalent required
3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
1+ years of training and/or leading others preferred

Responsibilities

Leads and promotes a culture of safety first.
Coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department.
Conduct regular 5S audits to ensure the department has all the required tools and is being maintained according to the 5S principles.
Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are being followed and standard work is being followed.
Must be flexible with hours across all shifts to train and coach.
