About The Position

The iServ Group is seeking a Sonny's BBQ Restaurant Team Lead who brings both leadership and heart to the table. In this role, you will guide your team through each shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while building a culture where team members feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year prior full-serve restaurant leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • General understanding of all full-serve restaurant operations (front and back of house) as well as financial management
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • A natural leader who puts people first
  • Someone who thrives in a team environment and leads by example
  • Strong communicator with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to stay organized and energized in a fast-paced setting
  • Minimum 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass driver insurability check and have reliable transportation
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and cover shifts on busy days/special events
  • Must be able to submit and pass a background check & drug test

Responsibilities

  • Perform opening/closing responsibilities for the store and assist the Management Team in overseeing store operations
  • Lead shifts with energy, clarity, and a commitment to excellence in both service and operations
  • Create a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike
  • Model and reinforce iServ’s mission, values, and culture in every interaction
  • Promotes a culture that inspires improvement; continually develops and mentors team members under his/her direction and is directly responsible for their success
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met
  • Communicate effectively with management on team performance and opportunities
  • Jump in where needed—whether assisting guests, running POS, or supporting the kitchen
